Soleco Energy

Why Solar

Solar power reduces energy costs

Good for business

Businesses can leverage solar energy to reduce operational costs, improve energy security and improve environmental credentials.

Reduce energy costs

Solar panels can reduce electricity bills by up to a third. Once installed, solar panels also require minimal maintenance.

Energy resilience

Solar panels help businesses become more energy independent, especially when solar systems are paired with a battery storage system. This means less reliance on the energy grid.

Improved public image

Using solar power aligns with corporate responsibility and ESG objectives. Solar installations provide jobs in local communities for solar design engineering, installation build and operational maintenance.

Reduced carbon footprint

Solar energy is a clean, emission-free energy source that can help businesses reduce their environmental impact.

Solar is a limitless energy source

Solar power is 100% renewable,

“Solar energy is the most abundant energy resource on earth, 173,000 terawatts of solar energy strikes the Earth continuously. That’s more than 10,000 times the world’s total energy use.”

US Energy Department

Good for the environment

Solar power emits no harmful gases and recyclable solar panels have a long lifespan with a shrinking carbon footprint.

Reduce emissions

Solar energy is a clean, renewable power source that produces no greenhouse gases or air pollution, helping combat climate change and protect ecosystems in the Caribbean. With zero emissions, solar energy improves air quality, benefiting public health and the environment by reducing pollutants commonly associated with traditional energy sources.

Avoids environmental harm

Reduces water usageUnlike conventional power plants that rely on water-intensive steam turbines, solar energy requires little to no water, conserving this vital resource for Caribbean communities and ecosystems. Solar energy eliminates the need for fossil fuel extraction, preserving the Caribbean’s natural beauty and preventing the environmental damage.

Durable and long-lasting

Solar panels have a lifespan of up to 50 years and can be recycled, providing businesses with long-term, reliable energy while minimizing the need for frequent replacements and reducing waste.

land use efficiency

Solar panels can be installed on rooftops, parking lots, and other underutilized spaces, preserving land and natural habitats while maximizing energy production.

Solar power has a crucial role to play in achieving energy independence and environmental sustainability.
