Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) Network

In 2016, the Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) network was set up to empower women in order to build up leaders to diversify and accelerate the fight in against climate change for a cleaner energy future.

CEO & Founder Angella Rainford, shares Soleco’s experience working on Paradise Park (one of the largest solar farms in the Caribbean) and demonstrates how they have already impacted the level of carbon emissions for Jamaica due to offsetting power which otherwise would have been taken from fossil fuel sources.
